Nestle Recalls Select Carnation Famous Fudge Kits
Containers lack precautionary allergen statement concerning peanuts
Nestlé’s USA Baking Division is voluntarily recalling select Nestlé Carnation Famous Fudge Kits because the outer containers of some kits were distributed without a complete allergen precautionary statement. Consumers who have allergies to peanuts run the risk of serious or life threatening allergic reactions if they consume products containing peanuts.
Customers are urged to check for the product with UPC: 0 150000 62251 1 and “Best Before” date of June 2010 or July 2010.
Schnucks and Logli customers may return the specified product to their nearest store for a full refund.
