ACH Food Companies Recalls Patak’s Dopiaza Cooking Sauce
Product may contain undeclared milk
ACH Food Companies of Memphis, Tenn. has recalled its Patak’s Dopiaza Cooking Sauce because it may contain an undeclared milk allergen. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk may run the risk of an allergic reaction if they consume this product. To date, there have been no reports of illness or complaints due to this error.
Schnucks and Logli customers are urged to check for Patak’s Rich Tomato Onion Cooking Sauce Sopiaza (mild) in the 15-ounce glass jar with UPC: 069276-07005 and a “best by date” on or before February 2010.
As a precautionary measure, this product was removed from Schnucks and Logli shelves on Aug. 29, 2008 prior to the actual recall.
Schnucks and Logli customers in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa, Tennessee and Mississippi may return the product to their nearest store for a full refund.
